His current tenure as CEO & MD will conclude on September 18, 2023, Tata Metal stated in a regulatory submitting.
“T V Narendran is appointed as CEO & MD of the Firm for an additional interval of 5 years efficient September 19, 2023…not liable to retire by rotation,” it stated
The re-appointment is topic to shareholders’ approval, the corporate stated.
He has over 35 years of expertise within the mining and metals trade. Narendran joined Tata Metal in 1988. He was appointed as Managing Director of Tata Metal for India and South East Asia on November 1, 2013.
In October 2017, Tata Metal elevated Narendran as Chief Govt Officer and Managing Director globally.
Because the CEO & MD, he has overseen the natural and inorganic progress of Tata Metal over the previous few years. Narendran oversaw the acquisitions of Bhushan Metal Restricted (later generally known as Tata Metal BSL Restricted) and its consequent amalgamation into the Firm, the Metal enterprise of Usha Martin Restricted, Neelanchal Ispat Nigam Restricted and Rohit Ferro-Tech Restricted, the corporate stated.
Narendran can also be the Chairman of Tata Metal Europe, the Supervisory Board of Tata Metal Nederland BV, Tata Metal Lengthy Merchandise Restricted and Neelachal Ispat Nigam Restricted.
