A Kent rewilding venture will broaden after being awarded £100,000.
Kent Wildlife Belief will use the cash from the charity Rewilding Britain to attach woodland within the Blean, an space house to bison that had been launched final summer time.
The fund will help 8,300 hectares of rewilding, connecting woodland presently fragmented by agriculture and concrete improvement.
“This thrilling venture is working at nature’s scale,” stated Sara King from Rewilding Britain.
It can permit “nature and pure processes to take the lead, whereas partaking with the area people and offering financial advantages by ecotourism,” Ms King added.
The venture hopes to at some point broaden throughout the South East, connecting the Blean with the Kent Downs and the Excessive Weald.
