Veteran actor Jayant Savarkar, recognized for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema, died on Monday morning at a hospital right here resulting from age-related points, mentioned his son Kaustubh Savarkar. He was 87.

Savarkar’s profession in Marathi and Hindi movies, theatre, and tv spanned six a long time, which incorporates films similar to “Hari Om Vithala”, “Gadbad Gondhal“, “66 Sadashiv” and “Bakaal”, whereas “Yugpurush”, “Vaastav”, and “Singham“.

He’s survived by spouse, two daughters, and a son.
The final rites shall be held on Tuesday morning.
