NEW DELHI: SpiceJet is not underneath the “enhanced surveillance” of the Directorate Common of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The regulator in Tuesday mentioned the airline is being taken off that record after 51 spot checks of 23 plane, each Boeing 737 and Q400, didn’t reveal something “vital” barring “routine nature” findings.

The airline was underneath the scanner since June 22, 2023, simply over a month. Whereas it could not be underneath the regulatory scanner, SpiceJet urgently requires vital fund infusion.
